Barbie as the Island Princess is based on a movie and follows the same storyline. You have five different "maps" to go and an overall of 28 different mini-games. You also have a dressing room, where you can try on items you find by completing mini-games. The game includes some clips of the movie, so I'd suggest watching the movie first if you haven't seen it because that explains some of the clips seen in this game a bit more. So this is more of an addition to the movie.
This game is meant for children and I can say it was good entertainment when I was little.
Basic controls: mouse, arrows. space, can’t be changed.

Is it worth playing?
This game for sure is fun for kids. The game is visually well-made. I remember playing this as a kid and finding some commands pretty complicated, and my opinion didn't change when I played this again. But with a little concentration, most of the mini-games are easy to play.
