Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp

This game is available on Old Games Download for free.

My game time: 3 hours, 2,5 hours to finish all the quests

Info:

On Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp, you arrive on a riding camp for summer. You need to win ribbons from different disciplines to progress in the game. On the side, you also help citizens on the island, quests are mostly related to recovering from the recent storm, and helping with arranging the riding camp graduation ceremony.

The graphics, ambient sounds, and some quests from this game remind me a lot of Star Stable PC games. It's not a bad thing tho, but some similarities can be seen clearly. But I think it's just a good thing that this game has been well-made.

The disciplines you can do in this game are time trials, showjumping, steeplechase, and endurance. You can choose higher-level horses when you earn more ribbons by completing races. Grooming, picking hooves, feeding, and drinking water happens on specific caring stations that are all over the island.

Is it worth playing?

This is a lovely game. Especially if you like playing the Star Stable games, this is a game for you. I liked this game very much, it's surprisingly well-made. I would've really loved a longer storyline, but there are still things to do in the game after the story finishes.
